The Practice was established by Martin Elliott, FRICS; Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, in 1982.

After gaining professional experience around the country in a variety of surveying practices, he returned to his place of birth in the North Cotswolds and started his own surveying office.

He was joined by Charles Carter-Lewis MRICS, FAAV, in 1986. Between them they have over 50 years of experience in surveying. As trained and qualified Chartered Surveyors , they have a wealth of experience in a wide range of surveying disciplines.

The practice believes in providing a personal service  with an innovative approach to old problems. The partners are supported by competent and friendly staff.

From the office at Stow on the Wold, we cover not only properties in Gloucestershire but also in the neighbouring counties of Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire including the local towns of Moreton in Marsh and Bourton on the Water, Chipping Campden, Broadway, Burford, Northleach and Chipping Norton together with numerous surrounding villages such as Broadwell,  Upper and Lower Oddington, Bledington, Kingham, Blockley, The Slaughters, The Rissingtons, Upper and Lower Swell, Maugersbury, Donnington, Guiting Power, Cutsdean, Condicote and The Barringtons, to name but a few.
